You’ve come to the right place to find out more about how you can have a voice in shaping the quality of life in Ventura County. There are many different ways to get involved in issues, projects, and programs that impact your community and the unincorporated County as a whole.
Attend Public Hearings:
You are welcome to attend Planning Director, Planning Commission, Mobile Home Rent Review Board and Cultural Heritage Board hearings at any time. Agendas and staff reports for Planning Director and Planning Commission items are posted to our website in advance of the hearings.
Comment on Neighborhood Planning Projects:
Each month, the Planning Division prepares a Projects in Process report that includes all of the major planning projects that are currently in process. You are encouraged to review this report and the corresponding map to provide input on projects proposed in your neighborhood.
