Environmental Health Division protects public health and the environment by ensuring conformance with State laws and County ordinances pertaining to a wide variety of environmental health programs. Much of this work is accomplished by performing routine inspections and investigations; conducting workshops and seminars; and taking enforcement action when warranted. The Environmental Health Division also interacts with various federal, state, regional, and local governmental agencies associated with environmental health programs.
An equally important function of the Environmental Health Division is to provide timely advice and information to the public, businesses, and other governmental agencies. Contact Us

The Permit Navigator works to facilitate process improvements that result in a more user-friendly permitting process both for customers and staff.  The Navigator works county-wide and across departments, agencies, and divisions to accomplish these results.   It is important to note that the Permit Navigator does not have the authority to revise, relax or ignore any laws, code requirements or minimum standards.
