Building and Safety Hours of Operation

Until further notice, our offices are open to the public Mon-Fri, 8 am to 4 pm. Our offices are open to the public during the lunch hour.

This schedule is being observed at both the East and West County offices (Simi Valley and Ventura offices) and is subject to change as the pandemic conditions and restrictions evolve.

Plan Check Submittal and Permit Issuance (No financial transactions ½ hour before closing).

The public counters are open during business hours, Mon-Fri, and by appointments.

*Inspections are available at our East County Office in Simi Valley by appointment only.

Planning Hours of Operation

The planning counter is now open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 am – 2 pm. Customers can also schedule a 15-minute appointment with Planning Staff Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 3 pm.

Code Compliance and Building and Land Use Hours of Operation

The public counters are open during business hours, Mon-Fri, 8 am to 4 pm.
