The mission of the Resource Management Agency, in cooperation with the public and our partner agencies, is to protect the consumer and community’s health, safety and environment by carrying out adopted laws and policies, and educating, assisting and empowering Ventura County residents and businesses to be good stewards of the land and our resources.

How do I file a Consumer Complaint?

You may file a complaint in any of the following ways:


  1. Download the form to your desktop (save to your desktop) and fill in the required information.
  2. Save it upon completion.
  3. Open your email application and attached the filled in form to an email addressed to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Or you can do the following:

  • Fax your signed Complaint Form to (805) 654-5177;
  • Mail your signed Complaint Form to 800 S. Victoria  Ave, Weights and Measures L#1750 Ventura, CA 93009-1750;
  • Drop off your signed Complaint Form at the Weights and Measures public counter weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
