Solar Friendliness

The County of Ventura has for many years had policies in place to encourage the development of solar power generating facilities.  Over the past two years, the Board of Supervisors has taken these policies further by directing that permit fees be reduced or entirely waived for many solar projects.  Recently, the County was recognized in a report prepared by the Sierra Club as one of the top 5 “Solar Friendly Communities” in Southern California.  Click below to access the full report.
